Our_Location
Mañihuales eco lodge enjoys a privileged location in the middle of the southern highway, with an impressive amount of waters that harbor magnificent fishing.
This allows us to fish large rivers, spring creeks, lakes and lagoons, with trips that do not exceed 40 minutes.
In addition, we operate waters in unexplored places, difficult to access, where it is worth venturing in search of virgin places and wild fish.
On the other hand, our proximity to various tourist attractions, such as the Queulat National Park, hanging snowdrift and stone bridge, among others, make us an excellent base for nature and adventure tourism.
How_to get_here
To get to our lodge there are different options, which present a variety of travel times and associated costs.
The most common and fastest way is by air, however, the land route offers unparalleled features in its journey along the Carretera Austral, using more than a day depending on the place of departure.
The all-inclusive programs consider the transfer to and from the airport in Mañihuales Eco Lodge vehicles.
By Plane
From Santiago there are three airlines that offer several daily flights to Balmaceda, with different alternatives according to the needs of our passengers. The flight takes approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes.
From Balmaceda airport you must continue by land on route 7 (Carretera Austral) heading north to Coyhaique and then to Villa Mañihuales by the same route. After 7 kms north of Villa Mañihuales, turn left onto the picaflor road (dirt road) and continue north for another 7 kms where our lodge is located.
By Driving
The trip to our lodge can be made by vehicle through the incomparable Carretera Austral, which necessarily combines land and sea routes.
First of all, it is necessary to reach Puerto Montt through Highway 5 south, traveling 1,032 km from the city of Santiago. Then you must travel 542 kilometers along the Carretera Austral, crossing 3 stretches on barges, navigating fjords surrounded by the Patagonian jungle and breathtaking landscapes.
On this stretch of the Carretera Austral you can visit iconic places such as the town of Chaitén, El Amarillo Hot Springs, Pumalin National Park, Palena, La Junta, Puyuhuapi and Queulat National Park, among many other tourist attractions.
The road is in good general condition and can be traveled by almost any type of vehicle in the summer months, however it is advisable to travel in 4x4 vehicles for safety and comfort.
This trip has a duration of 2 to 4 days depending on the planning of each passenger and the availability of the ferries.
By Charter
For greater comfort, privacy and optimization of travel time, Mañihuales Eco Lodge offers an exclusive charter service from the city of Santiago in a direct flight to the city of Aysén. The flight lasts approximately 3 hours 30 minutes and has a maximum capacity of 6 passengers.
From Aysén, passengers will be transferred to the lodge by land, in a trip that lasts approximately 45 minutes.
